Serving Up...

I incorporate a variety of tools to gently encourage your skin to healthily produce new skin cells and rid itself of the buildup of old skin cells.

If you live, you will age. As a person ages, many changes take place very gradually in the skin. The stratum corneum is the outermost layer of the epidermis, composed of flat, platelike envelopes filled with keratin, the protein that prevents water evaporation. Plump (new) cells are continuously traveling from the lower layers of the epidermis to the upper layers (older cells). When they reach the surface, they will have become flat and scaly, at which point they are sloughed off in a process called desquamation. As aging occurs, this process of desquamation slows (to a crawl), resulting in a thicker layer of dead skin cells making the surface skin uneven, dull, and have color variances, wrinkles. Production of keratin also slows, which leads to drier skin.

Microdermabrasion, facial desquamation, and peels all improve your skins ability to produce new skin cells to replace the old. They are techniques that stimulate and encourage healthy skin function. Let’s discuss how to achieve your best healthy skin.

Microdermabrasion, Facial Desquamation, and Peels

Donna has a healing touch and pours love into everything she does. Her space is so beautiful, comforting, and welcoming. I feel like I deeply exhaled when I walked in. And I left my facial feeling so relaxed and cared for. My skin was beautiful too. Donna really knows her stuff. Great facial, great products, great experience. I just came back for more of her products to add to my collection.

I had the best facial here.
